Gabriela Heslop – Chief Coordinator
My name is Gabriela Heslop and I am the chief coordinator of the Black Students’ Network at McGill University. I’m currently studying international development and I have plans of eventually working in the field of global heath care. Some of my hobbies include reading, playing the steel pan and volunteering in the community. I joined BSN because I enjoy promoting community development and academic excellence among my peers.
Jasmine Wilson – Political Coordinator
• Third year vocal performance concentration at the Schulich School of Music
• Second year as a coordinator on the BSN (was Eduction Coordinator 2010-2011)
• Learning capoeira, Afro-Brazilian, dance-martial art
Delane Boakye – Internal Communications Coordinator

• Majoring in International Development Studies and Political Science

Penina Kimani – External Communications Coordinator
Hey, I’m Penina Kimani, I’m Kenyan, I’m generally a happy person, I enjoy sleeping and dancing.
I am in my second year studying Finance and minoring in strategic management and economics.
And I am your external communications coordinator.
Carle Evans – Financial Coordinator
Hello my name is Carle Jane Evans. I am a second year law student. I enjoy dancing, traveling, running marathons, and drinking red wine. I joined BSN because I had the desire to be more in touch with the black community at McGill. I am the Financial Coordinator because I like budgeting and planning and I studied finance before law.
