La Loi 101, célébrant 30 ans en 2007, est peut-être la loi qui a plus fondamentalement altéré l’environnement socioculturel du Québec. Aujourd’hui, une génération diversifiée de 300,000 québécois qui ont grandit avec la Loi 101 a un rôle important dans la construction d’une nouvelle identité et dynamique culturelles. Ce documentaire rassemble les témoignages et les réflexions de ces enfants et explore les changements profonds qui ont eu lieu dans la société québécoise durant les 30 années depuis l’entrée en vigueur de cette loi.
La directrice du film, Anita Aloisio sera présente.

After 30 years of Bill 101 as of 2007, it has become perhaps the most fundamentally distinguishing piece of legislation for the sociocultural environment of Québec. Today, the first generation of 300,000 Quebeckers to live under it plays an important role in the creation of a new cultural identity and dynamic. This documentary brings in accounts and reflexions of this new generation and explores the profound changes that we have seen in Québec society in these last 30 years of the bill’s existence.
The film’s director, Anita Alosio, will be in attendance.
