Forms

Be sure to hand in any required forms to the SSMU. These deadlines are sent out over the Clubs and Services listserv. The most important is the executive contact list, which must be submitted every September. (LINK)

Members

To attract members, apply for a table at Activities Night. The fall dates are September 13 and 14, 2011. The winter date is January 19, 2012. You can also table at the Y-intersection and have events.

Money

To get money, your club can hold fundraisers, charge a nominal membership fee, and apply for funding. SSMU manages the Campus Life Fund, Club Subsidy Fund, and Green Fund. Other Faculty Associations and McGill departments also have their own funds which clubs can apply for.

Events

Clubs can book space in the Shatner Building for free. Gerts Bar in the basement of the Shatner building is also a great place to have social events. Club events can be added to the SSMU and Engage McGill websites.
