McGill Association of Responsible Equestrian Students (MARES)

McGill Equestrian was founded in Fall 2010 after we realized we missed our horses while at school. The team started competing with the Ontario University Equestrian Association in winter 2011 and hasn’t stopped since! McGill Equestrian prides itself on its unique dynamic: a team that not only bonds over competing on the OUEA circuit, but is also close friends beyond the show ring. All of the McGill riders share a special bond!

McGill Muggle Quidditch Club

The McGill Muggle Quidditch Club is Canada’s first and most prestigious quidditch club. With our two teams, McGill A and CFQC (Canada’s Finest Quidditch Club), McQuid provides a fun, competitive, and inclusive environment for everyone who wants to play. Boasting first place at the 2015 Eastern Regionals and a narrow second at Canadian nationals, McGill is a front runner in the Canadian quidditch scene. We travel from Mont Royal to Vancouver, and sometimes to America for tournaments. McQuid provides a large network of diverse McGill students, with members in almost every faculty. Not only do you get to play a cool sport, you have an instant circle of close and caring friends who will stay with you for life.
