Cycling @ McGill

We are a very inclusive competitive club; all McGill students are eligible to become members and reap the benefits of team training weekends, races, access to the gym, spinning workouts all winter long, as well as our close relationship with Cycle Neron and other generous sponsors. Our riders compete at all levels, from weekly criterium series to national level championships. No racing experience is necessary to join; all you need is a bike and a desire to ride it better!

McGill Association of Responsible Equestrian Students (MARES)

McGill Equestrian was founded in Fall 2010 after we realized we missed our horses while at school. The team started competing with the Ontario University Equestrian Association in winter 2011 and hasn’t stopped since! McGill Equestrian prides itself on its unique dynamic: a team that not only bonds over competing on the OUEA circuit, but is also close friends beyond the show ring. All of the McGill riders share a special bond!

McGill Muggle Quidditch Club

McGill Quidditch is the oldest quidditch team in Canada, and boasts two ranked competitive teams and an intramural league. Last April our A team traveled to South Carolina to compete against 80 teams in the Quidditch World Cup. The only co-ed sport at McGill, quidditch has transitioned from a fanciful tribute to Harry Potter to a fun and fast-paced sport. Join McQuid if you want to try a new sport, make new friends, and have a lot of fun!

McGill Students Cricket Club

McGill Cricket Club constitutes cricket loving enthusiasts who aim to promote the beautiful game of cricket among the McGill population and attract cricketers from all the different fields at McGill to play and represent their prestigious University in local, national and International cricket tournaments. The McGill Cricket Club has been recognized by Cricket Canada, Quebec Cricket Federation (QCF) and American College Cricket.
