Cal and Joe prepare their case
The McGill Debating Union continued its long-standing tradition of NorthAms success this past weekend at the University of Toronto, breaking 4 teams overall. A hearty round of congratulations goes to Novice Semi-finalists Cole Bricker & Peter McCauley, Novice Finalists Ezra Cohen & Caroline Mei, and Octo-finalists Lewis Fainer & Lauren Shadley. Joe McGrade & Calvin Rosemond carried the torch for McGill all the way to the Grand Finals, where they lost a hard-fought battle against the champions from Carleton. This marks the fourth time in five years that McGill has held a position in the NorthAms Grand Final, no small feat.
