The Hindu Students’ Association is a student-run organization at McGill University that celebrates South Asian and Hindu culture. We strive to project traditional and modern values through our many cultural and social events, as well as raise awareness of the spiritual, philosophical and cultural aspects of Hinduism.
Events are held throughout the year to celebrate such festivals as Navaratri/Dussera, Diwali and Holi. In addition to hosting charity events, educational seminars and workshops, movie nights, an annual semi-formal dinner and dance, we will also be introducing new and exciting events to our calendar. Our events are attended, not only by Hindu students from McGill, but also by individuals from across many cultures, age ranges and educational institutions.
Since its inception in fall of 2001, the Hindu Students’ Association has established itself as one of the fastest growing student clubs at McGill. This year, our association with its membership base of over 200 students, was among the largest student-run societies on campus.
