First Years!

Welcome to MISA, your Ismaili Central for the next four years! There's so much to know when coming into first year, where do we start? First of all, congratulations on getting accepted! We know coming to University from high school can be a big change and pretty stressful, but don't worry, we're here to help in any way we can :) We've all been through what you're about to go through, so take advantage of that, talk to us, ask us questions, and learn from our mistakes so you don't make the same ones! At the same time, don't think University and McGill is all work work work; all work and no play makes you a dull student. We can help you create a balance between your social, recreational, religious, and academic life. We have plenty of experience in all areas, and how it is to be too caught up with one or the other, and the main thing is striking that balance. MISA is not only for religious events, or strictly Ismaili events either; we incorporate all students, and will work with various organizations to bring the best of every aspect of University life to you! Whether that includes sports, studying, praying, procrastinating, or just having fun, we're here to bring you all of it! We look forward to meeting and getting to know each and every one of you!

Love,

Your MISA Team
