MASA and CASA invite you to our joint Karaoke Night which will be taking place at the 3 Minots on St-Laurent, a bar with a stage where you can get up and show off your awesome singing or dancing talents all night long!Entrance is FREE!So take a break from all the midterms/finals stress and come get your Karaoke on with us!
Ottawa Trip 2011
The Armenian Students’ Association of Ottawa is hosting a PUB CRAWL (and a day of sightseeing) and has extended invitations to the McGill Armenian Students’ Association, Concordia Armenian Students’ Association and UdeM Armenian Students’ Association.
“So what does this mean and why do I care?” you ask.
Well folks, this means that like every other Holy Trinity (Star Wars comes to mind), it’s going to be AWESOME! This is a chance to go out and have an amazing time with new and shiny Armenians from Montreal! Not to mention, it’s our first joint event! (“how exciting!”)
“Now that sounds great but what in the world is a PUB CRAWL?” you inquire.
Well, I know that it evokes a certain image of a baby in a bar, but that’s not it! A PUB CRAWL, my friends, is when you frequent many different bars over the course of a single night and get very (very) drunk.
“But I don’t drink.” you reply.
Or
“But what if I want to spend more time with the awesome Montreal Armenians after having such an incredibly fun night?” you cry out beseechingly.
Well, lucky for you, we’re also doing a sightseeing tour of Ottawa the very next day before the Montreal Armenians have to make their way back to their lovely city. As for what these sights are going to be, they are pretty much up in the air right now (we’re thinking Parliament, the canal, the National Gallery, the War Museum,… FEEL FREE TO GIVE US SUGGESTIONS!)
McGill Students will be meeting up in front of the University at 5:30 pm. We will be carpooling to Ottawa in 2 or 3 cars and arriving there at around 8 pm. We will then check in to our hotel and proceed with the pub crawl. The next morning we will have breakfast as a group and the proceed to go on our sightseeing tour of Ottawa. At 4:30-5:00 pm, we will be leaving Ottawa and returning to McGill University in Montreal by 7:00 pm.
The hotel rooms will cost 42$/person. Any drink bought during the pub crawl as well as the breakfast you will have to pay for. The transportation costs will be covered by MASA.

Welcome to the McGill Armenian Students’ Association (MASA) Web Site!
MASA is a non-political association which aims at uniting McGill students through various social and cultural activities in an Armenian entourage and a relaxed setting. We hope to give our members the opportunity to interact in a dynamic yet social environment whilst promoting awareness of Armenian heritage to students. It should be stressed that we are not an Armenian-only club and are in fact completely open to all students of McGill who have an interest in our activities.
Having been founded in 1966, our club is committed to making your experience in McGill as pleasant and entertaining as possible. Being a member holds absolutely no obligations since we are one of the few clubs in McGill that does not have a mandatory membership fee: you may or may not wish to actively participate at our events and are completely free to only attend the activities of your choosing, therefore it cannot hurt to receive our monthly email updates and stay on top of things… Who knows, one or more of our activities might interest you later on… We also encourage all our members to spread the word around to all their friends who would potentially be interested in joining our club (have them email us their names and we’ll take care of the rest).
