Arabic Beginner

This course in modern Arabic is designed for non-Arabic-speaking students who have no knowledge whatsoever of Arabic. The course focuses on standard Arabic: the phonology, the script of literary Arabic, proper pronunciation, and elementary vocabulary/writing expressions.Students will be familiarized with some aspects of Arab cultures in relation to Arabic language.

Ballet Mixed – Beginner and Intermediate

This course is designed for both beginner and intermediate students of all genders. It aims to improve posture, carriage and flexibility while allowing more advanced students to brush up on their technique. Contemporary Dance
Instructor: Malerie Lipa
This class will focus more on the movement of lyrical dance bringing in aspects from ballet, jazz and modern dance. It will build on the fundamentals of dance through control, flexibility, body alignment and fluency, using technique and movement. This class will follow the sequence of stretching, warm-up, center work and combinations/routines. Dance experience is recommended as contemporary dance is a relatively new style that builds on other learned styles of dance.
Dance Attire: Dancers should wear clothes that are comfortable to move in and that will allow for good stretching. Tighter clothes are highly recommended.
Footwear: Anything from jazz shoes, ballet shoes, foot-paws/foot-thongs, socks, or bare feet will be accepted based on personal preference.

Essentrics is a challenging and moderately paced workout that helps with weight loss, improves posture, decreases pain and gives people an understanding and awareness of their body. Essentrics has become highly popular amongst Olympic and professional athletes, helping them prevent injury and excel in their athletic aspirations. Excel

Never mind how much you know MS Excel, completing this course, you would be able to work with Excel as a professional expert. Not only you will learn shortcuts for finding your way around, but also be able to use Excel for calculating and analysing data for converting them into practical information. The confidence of solving and reflecting on different engineering problems is achieved by learning how to use specific features such as Functions, Data bases, Goal seek, Solver, What-if analysis, Conditional formatting, and Macro as well as exampling with practical exercises.

French Beginner I

Want to improve your French? Having a hard time with the announcements on the Metro? French Beginners II is ideal for people who either studied French for 1 year in high school or for a minimum of 30 hours in a language school (like Berlitz or an Alliance Franaise for example.) Potential students must be able to understand basic spoken French and they must be able to minimally speak.

Intermediate I is for people who either studied French for 2 years or more in high school or for a minimum of 100 hours in a language school (like Berlitz or an Alliance Franaise for example). Potential students must have a good understanding of spoken French and must be able to communicate without too much lagging. If you’re living in Montreal, why not try to make the effort and improve your French as much as possible!

Intermediate Drawing

This intermediate drawing class is designed for the student who already has a grasp of basic drawing techniques and skills. During these sessions, the student will develop these skills further through various exercises. Students will be introduced to working with oil pastels, graphite and drawing with an eraser as we investigate landscape and portrait drawing.

Whether you’ve never drawn a day in your life or you’re the next Da Vinci, this class is the perfect weekly breath of fresh air. From week to week you will learn different drawing techniques, as well as work on your own individual projects. This is the perfect place to let your imagination flow!

Mandarin Beginner

Mandarin is the official language for China’s estimated 1.3 billion citizens, and it’s being spoken all over the world!
