1. What are Mini Courses?

2. How often are classes held?
Most courses are held for 8 classes in the Fall, Winter, and May semesters. Classes run once a week in the Fall and Winter semesters, and twice a week in the May semester. Please check our COURSES page for each course’s schedule, because courses may not run each week due to holidays or space conflicts.
3. Where are the classes held?
Please see COURSES for the room of your class, and ABOUT for the addresses of the building.
Registration
1. Can I take Mini Courses if I’m not a McGill student?
Of course you can! Non-McGill students just pay an extra $5 for registration.

3. Can I still register for ______ when registration ended last night?
We are very sorry, but we cannot accept late registrations. Once registration closes, no one can register anymore.
Refunds
For our refund policy, please visit ABOUT.
1. I do not want to take the course I registered for anymore. May I get a refund?
You may NOT receive a refund. However, depending on how many classes you have taken and the available spaces, you may switch into another class.
2. I do not want to take the class I registered for. Can I take another Mini Courses instead?
You may NOT receive a refund. However, depending on how many classes you have taken and the available spaces, you may switch into another class.
3. I go to the first class and decide that I do not like the teacher/class. May I get a refund?
No refund, sorry!
4. I missed one class. May I get a partial refund for the class I missed?
We do not issue partial refunds, sorry!
5. I have an extenuating circumstance and cannot attend my course. May I get a refund?

info@minicourses.ca. Your situation will be judged on a case-by-case basis. However, know that you registered for Mini Courses knowing that our official policy is NO REFUND unless in the event of an entire course (not individual classes) is cancelled!
Courses
1. What are the language classes like?
The language classes mainly focus on conversation and culture knowledge. For some languages, we have both beginner and intermediate levels.
2. Are there any prerequisites needed for the courses?
With the exception of intermediate/advanced courses, there are absolutely no prerequisite needed! We welcome people from all backgrounds and skill levels!
3. Why aren’t you offering “Conversational Zulu” classes?
Contact us with all your ideas for new courses! You never know which one of your ideas might make its way into next semester’s schedule. And if you can teach it, all the better!

1. Do you have office hours?
We do not have weekly office hours, but meetings can be arranged with any Mini Courses manager by individual appointment. If the above FAQ did not answer your question, please feel free to email
