Welcome to the SSMU Musician's Collective Website!!

The SSMU Musicians Collective is a musicians network promoting and facilitating musical opportunities at McGill University and beyond.
Whether you are looking to play with others, form a band/group, teach, learn or perform, we are here to help you find the right people and opportunities.
We also act as a referral service for organisers who require musicians for their events.
Stay tuned for updates, including jam schedules, special events, and more.

Page back up! (Obviously)
We apologize that the site has been down for a couple of weeks as we were experiencing technical difficulties.
Jam Space situation
This semester has presented a few hurdles but perhaps we'll be better for it in the end. The jam space was out of commission due to construction, and though construction is finished, there are issues with key access that need to be addressed before we formalize an availability schedule.
Therefore, until further notice, if you would like to use it, please book in advance via email by sending us a time that you wish to use it and other relevant details. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!
Check out our New Facebook Page!
We decided to make the transition from a 'group' to a 'page' for various reasons, mostly in hopes that it will serve us better. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Click hereto fill out our very brief survey, asking questions about where the event should take place, and what kind of performances there should be. We'd really appreciate it if you let us know because we're hoping to put on an event that everyone in the Collective will enjoy, and it'll only take around a minute to fill out. Thanks!
