Phone Lines:

Although we are open every night during the fall and winter semesters, we are closed during the winter break and over the summer months. Additionally, we recognize that Nightline might not be best suited to meet everyone’s needs; here are some other Montreal phone lines that specialize in different areas:

** we encourage you to call 911, or go to the nearest hospital, if you feel you are about to hurt yourself, or someone else **

McGill Wellness Resources:

McGill Counselling:
“Counselling is available to students with psychological, academic and vocational concerns. Both individual and couple counselling are available as well as vocational testing. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a number of groups and workshops each semester. Other than modest cost-recovery charges for vocational testing material, all full- and part-time students who have paid student service fees are eligible for services free of charge.”

McGill Mental Health
“We provide a secure, non-judgmental and confidential space in which to pursue your mental health treatment.  Our clinic consists of a team of psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists whom are all available by appointment”

McGill Student Health Services
“The clinic is open from Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, and is accessible to all current McGill students who have paid the Student Services fee.”

McGill/Montreal Information:

Unofficial McGill Guide:
“The Unofficial McGill Guide (UMG) is a website with information and advice written for students, by students. Some information is duplicated from various McGill pages but with helpful comments and suggestions. Other information is not available elsewhere, such as the tunnel tours and library reviews. The UMG is continuously growing, and was established in March 2012.”
